The BRIKKA bialetti are an entirely new concept in stovetop espresso makers in that they produce creamy coffee equivalent to that of commercial espresso/cappuccino machines. The coffee is topped with "Crema", full-bodied and rich. Upper unit is fitted with a special Pressure Valve which regulates just the right amount of pressure for the coffee to come up to produce a rich, aromatic coffee with "Crema" head. This valve is self-cleaning and patented worldwide. Safety Valve on bottom part of unit is extra-strong, water-tight and airtight. Measuring Cup is provided for proper quantity of water. Threading between upper and lower parts of Coffee maker is hand-finished and therefore tighter. Based on the body size of a 3 Cup Coffee maker, these units make 2 Cups of Creamy Espresso. This allows the air to expand in the boiler while warming and the top Pressure Valve increases the pressure and speed of the brewing process . . . . . . . producing "Crema".
