In France, almost every bistro, brasserie or café's chinaware bears
its name. The ceramist has reproduced six plates inspired from the
thousands seen all over France. Designed using the "Elegance" line
plates, the rim is wide and the overall plate almost flat. Fired three
times, all pieces of the in glaze pattern are guaranteed to be first
quality and to last a lifetime. Plates have a distinct glazed foot.
The Bistro line is broiler proof, microwave and dishwasher safe, and
can retain a wide range of temperatures. With a shock resistance of
up to 800 lbs. and perfect whiteness, Bistro is part of a lineage
of chinaware more than 250 years old.
