Love the Whistle and the color

Bought the chili red Chantal Tea kettle about 3 months ago, and I absolutely the color and the red. My husband also bought me the Chantal cookware set in the same matching chili red for my birthday.
The whistle is lovely. But the enamel on the spout started cracking and chipping off. Found out that happens only if you leave it to boil dry. That did happen a couple of times with mine. NEVER leave it to boil dry. Vieco Kitchen was really gracious and sent me another for free even though damages through accidents is not covered under warranty. THANK YOU!!
