So good I'm giving it as a gift

I got this as a gift and just bought one as a gift for a friend because I love it so much. It boils water quickly and shuts off when the water boils. It brews my tea very well. It might seem expensive, but I have loved my for two years that when getting one for my friend the price didn’t matter. What’s nice too is that unlike regular French Press you don’t need to heat water up in a different container, and then pour into a regular French Press. All you do is put cold water in, turn it on, heat up the water, add coffee, and press.
I know my friend is going to love it.

Good Machine Not Great Design

This is a fine modern pseudo-french press. The machine works fine, but I am concerned about leaching of plastics in hot water. There is a plastic seal around the base in contact with boiling water. If plastic doesn’t bother you, this machine is great.
