The fully vitrified Elegance line has a sophisticated look. The rim is wide (2" for the charger) and the overall plate is almost flat with a soft slope, which visually enlarges the plate. A 12 1\4" charger rises only 3\4" from the table. Fired twice, all pieces are guaranteed to be first quality. Plates have a distinct glazed foot while the charger has a flat but rounded foot. The Elegance line is broiler proof, shock resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe. It can retain a wide range of temperatures from hot to cold. With a shock resistance of up to 800 lbs. and perfect whiteness, Elegance is part of a lineage of chinaware more than 250 years old.
