The fully vitrified Florilège line has a beautiful raised design of intertwined leaves and flowers. The rim of the charger is covered entirely in the embossed pattern; however the rim of all other plates has some solid white remaining on the inner rim. The rim is wide (2" for the charger). The 12 1/2" charger rises only 3/4" from the table. Fired twice, all pieces are guaranteed to be first quality. Plates have a distinct glazed foot while the charger has a soft, rounded foot. The Florilège line is broiler proof, microwave and dishwasher safe. It can retain a wide range of temperatures from hot to cold. With a shock resistance of up to 800 lbs. and perfect whiteness, Florilège is part of a lineage of chinaware more than 250 years old.
